Barca deny Ribery rumours

Barcelona have denied being in talks with Bayern Munich about a deal to take France winger Franck Ribery to the Camp Nou for next season.

The 25-year-old is also a reported target for Manchester United, but Barca's technical secretary, Txiki Begiristain, has rejected rumours that his club are closing in on a deal.

He told Catalunya Radio: "There are no negotiations going on with Ribery.

"We have a great relationship with Bayern Munich and vice versa and if we are interested in one of their players, they will be the first to know.

"Of course he is a very good player, but there are other footballers who can also adapt themselves perfectly to Barca's style."
