Leverkusen snap up Jorgensen

Bayer Leverkusen have completed the signing of striker Nicolai Jorgensen from Danish side AB.

The 19-year-old has earned himself a five-year deal with the Bundesliga club after impressing on a recent training camp in Austria and Bayer chief executive Wolfgang Holzhauser is adamant he will play a significant role under seasoned coach Jupp Heynckes during the upcoming campaign.

Speaking to the club's official website, Holzhauser said: "In Nicolai Jorgensen we have signed our fourth striker.

"He will certainly help us in the coming season."
