Kroos confident over Bayern return

Germany midfielder Toni Kroos is confident that he will be a first-team regular when he returns to Bayern Munich from an 18-month loan spell with Bayer Leverkusen.

The 20-year-old has emerged as one of the rising talents of the German game and has helped Leverkusen mount a surprise title challenge this season.

Kroos told Bild: "The most important thing for me is that I get regular first-team action. I'm 20 years old and have been an important player at Bayer Leverkusen this term.

"My career is on the right track at the moment and I can't let it happen that my progress stagnates. I have to continue to develop like this.

"I'm not afraid that I return to Munich to warm the bench. I've a lot more experience now than before and I have shown this season what I'm capable of."
