Bayer Leverkusen coach Jupp Heynckes has shrugged off the loss of points after the Bundesliga leaders were held to a 1-1 draw at Bochum.

Leverkusen saw their two-point lead over Bayern Munich evaporate over the weekend, but clung on to top spot by virtue of a better goal difference.

"Games like this can happen," said a relaxed Heynckes. "That is quite normal. You cannot be so wrong to believe that Bayer are going to win every single game until the end of the season.

"My young team in particular is not capable of that.

"They (Bayern) are certainly going to still drop points along the way."
