Heynckes: We can improve

Bayer Leverkusen coach Jupp Heynckes warned his Bundesliga rivals that there is still more to come from his side this season.

A goalless draw at Hannover maintained Leverkusen's position at the top of the table and made it 15 league games unbeaten this season for Heynckes' side.

He told the club's official website: "We didn't fire on all cylinders. We lacked precision, our passing game didn't come off and we did not hold on to the ball in midfield.

"It was an odd game with lots of chances. The result was fair in the end, although Hannover were slightly the better side. Rene Adler had to make several excellent saves.

"When we have our full squad available again and I don't want to be threatening, then we will be even better."
