Herrlich predicts Bayer success

Bayer Leverkusen's fine Bundesliga form has been noted by former Germany international striker Heiko Herrlich.

The Bochum boss prepares to face Leverkusen at the Ruhr Stadion on Saturday and he believes he could be facing the next German champions.

Bayer are bidding to win their first Bundesliga title and currently lead the way by two points and are yet to lose a game this term.

Speaking to reporters, he said: "The title is a possibility for Leverkusen this season.

"They have a young team who turn defence into attack in an instant and, with Sami Hyypia and his positive attitude, they have also strengthened their defence.

"If they can maintain this level, then they can win the league."
