Ayr Utd snap up free agent Gibson

Ayr United have bolstered their squad by signing former Clyde defender Billy Gibson on a free transfer. The 28-year-old right back was one of 12 players who agreed to terminate their contracts at Broadwood to prevent the club going into administration. Gibson started his career at Rangers before agreeing a move to Partick Thistle in 2004. He moved to St Patrick's Athletic three years later before joining the Bully Wee in January 2008. .... read more
