Stenhousemuir stun high-flying Ayr Stenhousemuir moved off the foot of the Division Two table after coming from a goal down to record a 3-1 win over play-off contenders Ayr at Ochilview Park. Stuart Bannigan gave the visitors the lead after just five minutes with a fine strike from 12 yards, but Scott Dalziel pulled Stenhousemuir level in the 36th minute with a low drive from 20 yards. Jordan Smith headed Sean Dickson's right-wing cross past David Crawford and into the bottom corner in the 53rd minute to put his side in front. Ayr struggled to assert their authority on the game as the hosts looked to secure their second win in a row. And Alex Williams calmly slotted his side's third from the penalty spot after Ebbie Malone had fouled Dalziel inside the box in the 64th minute.
