McDonald rescues Ayr
Cameron McDonald netted a late equaliser to help struggling Ayr secure a 3-3 draw against East Fife
Michael Moffat put the visitors ahead in the fifth minute, converting from close range, and Kyle McAusland added a second when he found the top corner from 20 yards 12 minutes later.
However, East Fife completed a remarkable turnaround in the space of 19 minutes to enter the interval 3-2 ahead.
David White halved the deficit by heading in from close range in the 26th minute, with Paul McManus' 12-yard effort bringing the scores level.
McManus netted his second on the stroke of half-time by volleying in from six yards.
Michael Donald should have levelled for Ayr early in the second half, but he directed a header over from six yards.
The visitors did secure a point five minutes from the end when McDonald fired into the top corner from 25 yards.
