Jamie Adams back in Ayr squad for Peterhead clash
Ayr manager Ian McCall adds a fit-again Jamie Adams to his squad for the Ladbrokes Championship play-off semi-final second leg against Peterhead.
Ayr won the first leg 4-1 but McCall is not taking anything for granted.
He said: "We did play well in the first leg, however the job is not done yet. Last weekend against Airdrie we found ourselves two goals down after 10 minutes and you can imagine the lift Peterhead would get if something similar happened in this tie.
"They also have Rory McAllister available again and he is a real talent so we have to play well again to get through."
Peterhead welcome back the talismanic McAllister after a two-game ban with Scott Ross set to return after an ankle knock.
Ally Gilchrist remains out with a groin injury with manager Jim McInally saying: "First and foremost we need to go out and win the game and that will be difficult enough. If we can get an early goal or a goal before half-time then that may start some nerves creeping in but we also have to keep the back door shut as well.
"Ayr scored three goals from our defensive mistakes on Tuesday and we simply cannot afford to make any more or the tie will be beyond us."
