Ayr at full strength

Ayr United player-manager Mark Roberts has a fully fit and suspension-free squad to choose from as the Honest Men play host to Brechin City.

Roberts is looking for his side to build on last Saturday's win at Morton and he said: "It was a more than decent performance against a team that had not been beaten at home.

"We face a different challenge now as Brechin are coming here after a disappointing run and will be looking to get the win that will get them going again.

"They have a good record at our place but if we play like we did against Morton then we will win."

Brechin welcome former Ayr player Kyle McAusland back into their ranks after injury, with Darren McCormack also set to be included after returning to training on Thursday.

Former Hibs, Celtic and Scotland striker Derek Riordan is included for a second game as a trialist, but knee injuries rule out Callum Tapping and Craig Molloy while a groin problem keeps Alan Trouten absent.

Manager Ray McKinnon said: "Ayr had a very good result last weekend but we will be going there looking for further improvement in our play.

"We were really poor against Airdrie a fortnight ago but we were a lot better against Stranraer even though we lost 2-1."
