Swankie double blows away Ayr
Gavin Swankie netted a brace as Forfar recorded a 3-2 victory over Ayr at Somerset Park.
The visitors dominated in the early stages and took the lead in the 13th minute when Swankie turned Dale Hilson's cross into the back of the net.
The Honest Men hit back in the 34th minute when Craig Malcolm lashed the ball past Sky Blues shot-stopper Robert Douglas from the middle of the area.
Forfar restored their lead on the brink of half-time when Christopher Templeman rifled in from the right side of the box before Ayr defender Martyn Campbell bundled in from close range in the 62nd minute to make it 2-2.
The visitors went in front for the third time five minutes later when Swankie hit his second from the left of the area.
