Austria calm Pogatetz fears

Austria coach Josef Hickersberger has calmed fears that defender Emanuel Pogatetz could miss their Group B opener against Croatia.

Pogatetz sat out training on Wednesday with a sore calf, but Hickersberger is hopeful the Middlesbrough defender will be fit to face Croatia in Vienna on June 8.

"There is only a small chance he won't be fit in time for the Croatia game," he revealed.

"I hope he will be back in training and then it would be no problem for the match."

Austria have been drawn alongside Croatia, Poland and Germany in Group B.
