Maniche could stay at Atletico

Atletico Madrid coach Javier Aguirre has suggested Maniche could still have a future with the club.

The 30-year-old Portugal international finished last season on loan at Internazionale after falling out with Aguirre.

But despite numerous reports of a summer move away from the Vicente Calderon, Maniche could yet have a future with the Rojiblancos.

"The transfer market is open until August 31. If he stays with us, there's no problem," said Aguirre.

"But if a good offer comes along, then we will make a decision on the matter."
