Aguirre backing for Atletico

Atletico Madrid coach Javier Aguirre remains hopeful that his side can secure a place in the Champions League group stage
Aguirre's side lost the first leg of their third qualifying round tie 1-0 to Schalke of Germany, but the Mexican tactician still has belief that his side can win through in front of their own fans.
Aguirre said after the loss: "It's not the best result. We had the intention of scoring, but it was not to be. But there are still 90 minutes left.
"The next game will be very different and will be played in different circumstances. We will play in front of our fans and in the Vicente Calderon.
"We are sure that we can get through, but we have to have patience and take advantage of our chances."
