Huelva remain in grave danger of relegation after crashing to a 3-0 defeat at fourth-placed Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
All Atletico's goals were scored by teenagers, with Ignacio Camacho grabbing a brace and Sergio Aguero netting his 17th goal of the season.
Real Zaragoza moved out of the bottom three by grabbing a dramatic 1-0 victory against in-form Deportivo Coruna.
The only goal of the match was netted by Argentine centre-back Roberto Ayala in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
Zaragoza move up to 16th in the table, one point ahead of Huelva and Osasuna.
