Athletic Bilbao's Spanish striker Fernando Llorente stormed out of training on Monday after a row with coach Marcelo Bielsa, local media reported.
"Llorente left the training pitch unexpectedly after a conversation with Marcelo Bielsa who didn't seem satisfed with the striker's performance during the morning session," the sports daily Marca reported.
There have been increasing tensions between the Argentinian coach and the 27-year-old Llorente, who has announced that he will not renew his contract with the Basque club at the end of the season.
Since then Llorente has played rarely for the club who lost their Basque derby Saturday to Real Sociedad, with the striker coming on as a substitute after 65 minutes.
The club are currently just one point above the drop zone with just five points from six matches.
