Floccari not leaving Atalanta

Atalanta star Sergio Floccari will not leave the club in the January transfer window, according to his agent.

Vincenzo Morabito claims the 27-year-old former Genoa and Messina player will not leave mid-season, but has suggested a summer move could be on the cards.

Floccari has been linked with a January move to AS Roma to help fill the void created by the long-term injury suffered by Francesco Totti.

"I don't think that a serious club can lose an important attacker like Floccari right in the middle of the season," said Morabito.

"The players of a certain level move during the summer market and not in January.

"We must also mention that a player like Floccari is fine at Atalanta because he found that necessary continuity which is leading him towards important targets."
