Wigan beat West Ham to Ivan Ramis

Wigan are set to win the battle for Ivan Ramis after the defender agreed to waive his part of the transfer fee to link up with Roberto Martinez. West Ham had agreed a ?4million fee with Real Mallorca for the 27-year-old and he was due to have a medical on Monday morning, until Martinez intervened.
