Aston Villa have been told to pay up if they want to sign Mbark Boussoufa from Belgian club Anderlecht.
The 25-year-old Morocco midfielder is reported to have been lined up as a potential replacement for James Milner at Villa Park.
Manchester City and Chelsea are both interest in signing the England international this summer.
However, with Villa possibly banking more than £25million from the potential sale of Milner, Anderlecht are looking to be compensated fully for last season's Belgian player of the year Boussoufa.
"Boussoufa can go if a team offers what we want," revealed general manager Herman Van Holsbeeck. "He was a key player and therefore he can only go if a club does what we ask.
"We will not make concessions."
