Villa's Carew in talks with Stoke

Stoke have held talks with Aston Villa over the potential signing of Norwegian striker John Carew.Assistant manager Dave Kemp told BBC Sport that Carew, 31, had been to the ground to meet manager Tony Pulis but "nothing had been finalised yet".
