Simon Jones is Sportsmail's man on the inside of all the biggest (and littlest) transfer moves this summer. His column, published every weekday, offers an insight into the deals which will be done and those that won't - and why. A 5/5-rating means The Insider reckons it's a done deal; 0/5 means The Insider has his mortgage on it not happening Don't miss your daily instalment of The Insider every weekday through the transfer window here at MailOnline. Joleon Lescott Everton to Manchester City - The Insider says: 2/5Manchester City will test Everton's resilience this week with a £15million offer for the 26-year-old. Everton manager David Moyes and chairman Bill Kenwright are adamant they won't sell any of their players, but City may yet offer Micah Richards as a make-weight in the deal. Lescott's head could be turned by a double-your-money offer. Jermaine JenasTottenham Hotspur to Aston Villa - The Insider says: 4/5Sportsmail revealed on Saturday that Martin O'Neill wants Jenas to add much-needed mobility to his midfield. Spurs are willing to sell, but problems may arise over the player's value. Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp rates Jenas at about £10m, but Villa would prefer to pay around £7m. Jenas, 26, is keen to make the move to kick-start his career. Nemanja Vidic Manchester United to Barcelona or AC Milan - The Insider says: 2/5As revealed in Sportsmail last month, United feared they would have a problem this summer with Vidic's wife, Ana, who is unsettled in Manchester. Barcelona and AC Milan are very keen to capitalise on Vidic's situation and will try to prize him away from the north-west. The player, though, is extremely popular at United and the club will do their utmost to persuade him to stay. Napoli to Manchester City - The Insider says: 1/5The attacking midfielder player has been watched by most of Europe's elite in the past 18 months. Lavezzi is in contract dispute with Napoli and claims Manchester City have made him a good offer in the past 10 days. Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal have also watched him, but he remains low down on their lists of priorities at this stage. The Argentina international may move up the rankings if the clubs fail to sign their other targets. Ruud van Nistelrooy Real Madrid to Fulham - The Insider says: 1/5A host of English teams are exploring ways to lure Van Nistelrooy back to the Premier League as Real Madrid look to cut their losses on the player. The striker could be allowed to leave for as little as £3m, but Spurs would have more chance of persuading him to return to England than Fulham. Harry Redknapp is a big fan, but the one concern is whether Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would give the go-ahead for an injury-prone player. Van Nistelrooy is 32 years old, but the guarantee of goals still makes him an attractive option.
