Aston Villa manager Graham Taylor has laughed off press reports that he is on the verge of quitting Villa Park.
Several newspaper reports had claimed that Taylor would leave the club in the summer to be replaced by Leicester City boss Micky Adams, but he insists that he will see out the final year of his contract.
"It's just press talk all the time. Howard Wilkinson has gone at Sunderland and Terry Venables has gone at Leeds and I'm next in line," the former England boss told the club's official website.
"If results are not going well people look at the manager. I'm no different from anyone else, but I've got a year left on my contract."
