Stoke plan bid for Villa's Davies

Stoke City are planning to make a bid for Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies, BBC Radio Stoke understands.Davies has spent three months on loan at Championship side Leicester and would be available for around £2.5m. The 25-year-old cost Villa £8m from West Bromwich Albion in 2008 after a season-long loan spell at Villa Park.
