Stoke line up double swoop for Villa defender Curtis Davies and Huddersfield winger Pilkington

Stoke City are lining up a £2m bid for Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies. The 25-year-old has spent three months on loan at Championship side Leicester and is available although he had been discussed as a possible makeweight in a swap for Blackburn's Chris Samba.
