Aston Villa goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has slammed rumours linking the club with a move for Bolton's Jussi Jaaskelainen.
Villa boss Martin O'Neill has been linked with a move for the Finland international after he turned down a contract extension at the Reebok Stadium.
Jaaskelainen has 12 months left on his existing Bolton deal, but Sorensen isn't concerned by talk suggesting he could have competition for the number one jersey next season.
"There is actually not much news in that, because Villa have been linked with lots of players," he told Viasatsport.
"I know I am good enough to be the first choice at the club and don't care about the rumours in the English media.
"I believe I will be playing for Aston Villa next season too. I feel myself that I played well last season.
"Therefore, I don't believe that Martin O'Neill wants to offload. Rather, I believe he is looking for a back-up."
