Olympiakos target Aston Villas Jean Makoun on loan

Greek side Olympiakos are trying to sign Aston Villa midfielder Jean Makoun on loan. The 28-year-old only joined Villa from Lyon in January for ?6.2million and has made just seven appearances. Villa, who remain keen on West Ham's Scott Parker and watched Celtic's Beram Kayal last week, would prefer a permanent deal and the Greeks are willing to talk over a loan now with view to signing him in the summer.
