Aston Villa are sweating on the fitness of Gabriel Agbonlahor and Stiliyan Petrov ahead of Sunday's FA Cup clash with Crystal Palace.
Agbonlahor suffered a dead leg towards the end of Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Manchester United while Petrov jarred his ankle during the tackle which led to the dismissal of Nani.
"We do have a few injury problems," said manager Martin O'Neill ahead of the fifth-round trip to Selhurst Park.
"Petrov will be a doubt for Sunday and he would have no chance if the game had been due to be played today (Thursday).
"Gabby would be in the same boat. He hurt himself towards the end of the United game. He went down injured, stayed on, but is very sore today."
Meanwhile, O'Neill has confirmed that striker Emile Heskey and full-back Stephen Warnock are close to making comebacks from groin and ankle injuries respectively.
