Lyon dismiss Baros talk

Lyon manager Gerard Houllier has ruled out the prospect of signing Aston Villa striker Milan Baros in next month's transfer window.
The Czech Republic international worked with Houllier when the Frenchman was in charge of Liverpool, but there appears to be no chance of a reunion.
"Milan Baros will not come. I won't say no twice," he said.
"Concerning signings, I was clear. I said that with the same set-up, we could be in danger.
"I defined the type of player I am looking for but it is complicated. I don't want to waste energy on things I cannot control."
Baros has been linked with a move away from Villa after failing to impress boss Martin O'Neill.
He scored his first Premiership goal of the season in Monday's 2-2 draw at Sheffield United.
Meanwhile, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has insisted that the runaway domestic league leaders are not interested in signing France international winger Franck Ribery.
"I have agreed to sign a player because the coach has requested it," he said. "He gave me a list of names, but the player has to be available.
"As far as Franck Ribery is concerned, this avenue is no longer open."
