Former Villa skipper Godfrey dies

Former Wales international Brian Godfrey has died at the age of 69 following a long battle with cancer.Flint-born Godfrey won three caps for Wales, scoring two goals, in 1964-5. The inside forward played for Everton, Scunthorpe United, Preston North End, Aston Villa, Bristol Rovers, Newport County and Portland Timbers (USA).
