Aston Villa will be without Netherlands defender Wilfred Bouma for a further two weeks as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.
The former PSV Eindhoven star picked up the problem during the dramatic 3-3 draw at Fulham on December 28 and, although it is not serious, boss David O'Leary is not expecting to see him back in action in the near future.
"He's still not right and he won't be in the frame for West ham," O'Leary told the club's official website.
"He looks like he'll be out for another couple of weeks yet. But I've been told he won't need surgery or anything like that."
Bouma's absence will be particularly keenly felt against West ham as Gareth Barry, who has filled the left-back spot for the past three games, is suspended.
