Bouma delighted with PSV return

Defender Wilfred Bouma has revealed his delight at having secured a return to Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven. Bouma yesterday signed a two-year deal at PSV, five years after leaving the Philips Stadion for Aston Villa. He was initially a regular at Villa before a broken leg curtailed his progress and he was released on a free transfer at the end of last season. The 32-year-old joined up with PSV to maintain his fitness levels but a contract offer soon materialised and Bouma was happy to commit himself to the Eindhoven club. He told the club's official website: "It is up to the coach to decide when he needs me but I would like to show I can still contribute. "PSV is a team with great potential. "I am very happy to be back at PSV."
