Barry eyes top-four spot

Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry believes the club can challenge for a top-four place if Martin O'Neill strengthens the squad next month.
Villa slipped to seventh after Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to table-topping Arsenal, but are only three points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester United after almost half the season.
Barry sees no reason why Villa cannot push for a Champions League spot in the second half of the campaign, saying: "I'm sure the manager realises that we'll be a bit short if we have a few injuries and suspensions.
"January will be interesting. I'm sure the manager has got a few things lined up. It's a long season even if we're not in Europe so hopefully a few will come in, in January.
"The players haven't been getting too carried away although it's sometimes hard not to when you've got three away fixtures in a row and you win them all.
"We have to try and aim for the top four. It's a big aim. If we fall short, the top six would be great."
