Aston Villa v WOLVES: Mick McCarthy set to welcome back long-term absentees

On the mend: Mancienne (right) has not featured since the start of December Wolves winger Michael Kightly could make his first appearance since November 2009 in the Barclays Premier League derby clash with Aston Villa. The 25-year-old has struggled with knee problems for the past 15 and a half months but is back in the 18-man squad for the short trip to Villa Park. Defender Michael Mancienne is also back in contention after more than three months out with a knee injury while Adlene Guedioura could return from a broken leg suffered against Villa in September. Wolves will definitely be without Stephen Hunt (calf), Dave Edwards and Ronald Zubar (both back). Provisional squad: Hahnemann, Jarvis, Craddock, Jones, Ward, Fletcher, Ebanks-Blake, Stearman, Mujangi Bia, Vokes, Milijas, Elokobi, Hennessey, Doyle, Henry, Hammill, Ebanks-Blake, Foley, Kightly, Mancienne Guedioura.
