Aston Villa v Blackburn Rovers Live

Bent sits out cup clashAston Villa's record signing, Darren Bent, is cup-tied for the FA Cup fourth round clash with Blackburn at Villa Park.Bent, signed from Sunderland for #18million, played and scored for the Black Cats when beaten by Notts County in the previous round. With John Carew having joined Stoke on loan, Emile Heskey is set to return to the starting line-up.Ciaran Clark (hamstring), Fabian Delph (knee) and Kyle Walker (back) are all available again, but Luke Young and Stephen Ireland are both still sidelined with knee injuries.Villa boss Gerard Houllier is hoping Villa can build on back-to-back league wins over Manchester City and Wigan as they look to emulate their Carling Cup win over Rovers in his first match in charge of the midlands club.He said: "The cup is very important, first of all to keep the momentum, and to keep on an unbeaten run."We are better, stronger physically and mentally. There was a time when we would concede goals at the end of games."Now we don't concede goals but we can also score and we can also hold onto a result and that is important."Ryan Nelsen will be missing for Blackburn with a knee problem.Three midfielders are back from long injury absences however - Steven Nzonzi could start while Keith Andrews and Vince Grella will also be part of the squad.El-Hadji Diouf will be aiming for a recall after being on the bench against West Brom last time out.Rovers faced Villa five times last season, including the FA and Carling Cups, and Kean admitted: "We've played them that often that when they came out of the hat it was 'oh no, not them again'."They are a team on the up and are going to be tough but we have had a really good week and are confident we can do something."If we can get a result and then a home tie in the next round we could have a really good run in the FA Cup."
