Aston Villa held on to deny 10-man Manchester United the chance to go top of the Premier League. Carlos Cuellar superbly looped a header over Edwin van der Sar from 12 yards to put Villa ahead. James Collins then diverted a Ryan Giggs effort into his own net before Nani was sent off for a dangerous challenge on Stilian Petrov.
