Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has won the Premiership Manager of the Month award for April.
O'Neill led his side away from relegation danger last month, as Villa went six games unbeaten in the league, winning all three of their away games and drawing all three at Villa Park.
Awards panel spokesman Jim Hytner commented: "Martin O'Neill has made a terrific impact in his first season back in the Premiership.
"He's built a team full of young talent that is becoming increasingly hard to beat, no more so than in April.
"Three successive away wins also demonstrate that his Villa side combines a solid defence with a real threat in attack."
Meanwhile, O'Neill is hoping to side can sign off at Villa Park with a win this weekend, when they face Sheffield United.
The Irishman said: "If we had won one or two more matches we would have been vying for Europe, but it wasn't to be.
"It has been a strange season, but overall if we could win our last two games we could have a chance of finishing in the top ten and that would be encouraging.
"But we have drawn too many home games and this is something we have to address for next season."
