Young wants to go for the throat

Villa last triumphed away at Manchester United in 1983 and it is 14 seasons since they defeated Sir Alex Ferguson's team in a Premier League encounter - 3-1 at Villa Park in 1995.[LNB]But Young feels Villa's on song players such as James Milner, Ashley Young and Stewart Downing can give them cause for optimism.[LNB]The Villa full-back said: "You have Youngy, Downing and Milner all rotating at the moment, popping up here, there and everywhere.[LNB]"I think that's what Manchester United do with their players, especially at home. It's causing people lots of problems at the minute.[LNB]"I don't think it would suit us to go anywhere and sit back with the attacking players we've got. We'll be playing as attacking as we ever do and trying to win a game of football.[LNB]"We are going there with as much confidence as we have had all season after the last couple of results against Portsmouth and Hull.[LNB]"Hopefully we can go out there, play our own game and have a go at them.[LNB]"The way we go into game, we try to win a game of football. We won't go to Old Trafford and say 'right, for the first 15-20 minutes let's try to nullify this or that"'.[LNB]Young is particularly desperate for a Villa win on Saturday after being the player turned by Federico Macheda before he scored a stunning last gasp winner in last season's Old Trafford fixture between the sides.[LNB]He said: "Trust it to be one of those iconic goals that's going to be played over and over again. It probably won them the league and there I am getting turned for it![LNB]"It's one of those things. It was late in the game. It won't be the last time I get turned for a goal. It's just part and parcel of being a defender.[LNB]"It was a hell of a match at Old Trafford. We performed really well but we still managed to lose."[LNB][LNB]
