Young happy at Villa

Aston Villa winger Ashley Young insists he is happy at the club, believing he has plenty more to achieve with Martin O'Neill's side. Young has been linked with a string of clubs this summer after creating a huge impact since joining Villa from Watford in January 2007. The recent signing of Stewart Downing from Middlesbrough has prompted speculation that Villa boss O'Neill will cash in on Young before the close of the transfer window. O'Neill is adamant that the England international is not for sale after the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham were linked with bids for the 24-year-old. And Young has pledged his future to Villa by confirming he has more ambitions to fulfil with the Midlands club. "If you look at when I first came I set myself a lot of goals," Young told the club's official website. "I've achieved some of them - like getting into the England team, winning Player of the Month awards and being named the PFA Young Player of the Year. "There are still things that I want to achieve here. The club's on a high - on the way up - and hopefully so am I, so I'm happy here."
