Young feeling the pressure

uke Young believes it is essential for Aston Villa to return to winning ways against Stoke on Sunday.[LNB] Villa crashed out of Europe on Thursday evening as they lost 2-0 to CSKA Moscow in the second leg of their Uefa Cup tie.[LNB]Martin O'Neill's men can now focus solely on trying to secure UEFA Champions League qualification for next season, having also exited the FA Cup earlier this month.[LNB]Villa are six points ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League with 12 games remaining and Young is relishing the challenge of fighting for fourth place.[LNB]"There is pressure on us now - but there has been ever since we were fourth and fifth," Young told the Express & Star.[LNB]"Every game there is pressure to win because the top teams win week in, week out and that is what we need to do to stay with them.[LNB]"It is pleasing that the games are coming quickly again and it is important to stop the rot."[LNB]Young was made captain for the clash with CSKA as O'Neill decided not to take several of his key players to Russia.[LNB]The 29-year-old was proud to wear the armband, adding: "It was surprising.[LNB]"I didn't know I was going to play but it was pleasing to me. I really enjoyed it even though there were five, six or seven contenders back home."[LNB]
