Young can take the rough stuff

Young, in the England squad for the games with Slovenia and Croatia, often finds teams deploying two players to man-mark him to stop his surging runs.[LNB]But the ex-Watford player has come to terms with teams trying to stop him at all costs.[LNB]Young said: "Getting a kicking is par for the course and after every game I get a couple of ice packs to take home with me and ice whatever area has been kicked.[LNB]"But that is something you are always going to have to deal with, being kicked, and you just have to make sure you bounce back from that.[LNB]"I am used to it now. I just get up and get on with it."[LNB]Young believes Villa can be satisfied with their overall start to the season despite the shock home reverse against Wigan in their Premier League opener and failing to make the group stages of the Europa League.[LNB]They followed up the Latics setback by winning against Liverpool at Anfield and defeating Fulham at home.[LNB]Young said: "We wanted to start the season on a good note and I feel that is what we are doing. I believe we have kick-started our season now.[LNB]"There has been no hangover from going out of Europe but it was important we got back to winning games last weekend (against Fulham).[LNB]"But, if you look at the whole Premiership, it has been a couple of weeks of ups and downs.[LNB]"There have been some, shall we say, different results and we have been no different in that."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
