WIGAN v Aston Villa: Skipper Mario Melchiot still missing for Latics

Wigan have close to a fully-fit squad available for the Barclays Premier League clash against Aston Villa at the DW Stadium on Tuesday.  

Captain Mario Melchiot is manager Roberto Martinez's only major absentee with the thigh injury which has kept him out for the last two games.  

Sidelined: Melchiot (left) will play no part against Villa

January arrival Steve Gohouri is also continuing to work towards full fitness but the rest of the Latics squad are fit.  

Provisional squad: Kirkland, Stojkovic, Pollitt, Boyce, Bramble, Caldwell, Amaya, Figueroa, N'Zogbia, Diame, Thomas, McCarthy, Scharner, Gomez, Koumas, Moses, Sinclair, Rodallega, Scotland, Moreno.
