Bench warmer: Robbie Keane is desperate to get out of White Hart Lane[LNB]Robbie Keane's proposed switch from Tottenham to West Ham has stalled because the two clubs cannot agree a loan fee, despite claims that the Hammers have agreed a salary with the striker. [LNB]Reports suggest Keane's demands of £65,000-a-week have been met by the West Ham board, putting them in the box seat above the likes of Aston Villa, Birmingham City and former club Wolves in the race to sign to wantaway frontman. [LNB]Republic of Ireland captain Keane has started just two Premier League games for Tottenham this season, failing to find the net on either occasion. However West Ham are confident he is the man to get the goals which will haul Avram Grant's strugglers clear of the relegation zone.[LNB]A similar impasse existed last season when Celtic made a move to take Keane on loan in the winter transfer window. Spurs eventually waived their demand for £1m and the striker moved north of the border in the final few moments of deadline day. [LNB]Both West Ham and Tottenham will be keen to avoid a repeat scenario, and the north Londoners have offered their east London rivals the option to make the move permanent for £6m.[LNB]Meanwhile, Alan Pardew has refused to confirm or deny that Newcastle are ready to rekindle their interest in Keane.[LNB] We want you back: Wolves are among a host of clubs interested in signing the striker[LNB]Predecessor Chris Hughton tried to land the 30-year-old Republic ofIreland skipper on loan during the summer, and it is understood theMagpies retain an interest in a man who has played a largely peripheralrole at White Hart Lane during the ensuing months.[LNB]On Thursday Pardew was giving little away about his plans for theJanuary window, but when asked about Keane, he replied: 'Any player ofthat sort of quality that becomes available, we would be interested in.Whether it is possible to bring them to the club for a number ofreasons, we will have to see.[LNB]'But I am not going to go into individuals because we have had somany names thrown at us and so many of our players leaving, it isridiculous to name them all, so I will pass on that one.'[LNB]West Ham had have also sought to sign Wayne Bridge and ShaunWright-Phillips on loan from Manchester City but were unable to come toan agreement over wage contribution.[LNB]The Hammers were ready to pay Bridge a weekly wage of £65,000 but City wanted the club to contribute the entire £90,000.[LNB]  Keane will take pay-cut in bid to play as Wolves and Birmingham chase dealBirmingham base survival chances on joint bid for Spurs' Bentley and KeaneMcLeish targets any two from Keane, Babel and Bothroyd to fix goal woesWEST HAM UNITED FC
