Warnock satisfied with Villa start

Villa are well placed after 12 Premier League games and they have impressed with victories over Liverpool and Chelsea.[LNB]However, Warnock is refusing to get carried away at this stage and would like to see greater consistency over the coming weeks.[LNB]The left-back, who joined the club from Blackburn in August, feels the forthcoming run of fixtures up until the festive period could prove decisive.[LNB]Warnock believes Villa are capable of challenging for Champions League qualification if they are in a good position at the turn of the year.[LNB]"Would we have taken what we've got so far? I think so. But then you're always disappointed with the games you've lost," Warnock told the Express and Star.[LNB]"Not many teams win at Liverpool, so you'd probably say we've probably picked up an extra couple of points there, while maybe you would have expected us to beat Blackburn or Wigan so things even themselves out.[LNB]"Now we've got an added incentive to really kick on and go on a good run up until Christmas.[LNB]"It's an important time and hopefully we can pick the right results up to know that we'll be up there fighting for that top-four position."[LNB]Villa return to league action against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.[LNB][LNB] Barclays Premiership To Be in Top 4.
