Villans and Potters tracking Demidov

Scouts for Villa are understood to have watched the 22-year-old Norwegian in several games, while Stoke boss Tony Pulis saw the 2-2 draw with Sandefjord on May 19. But his agent Jim Solbakken, while admitting there has been interest in the player, refused to name specific clubs. He told Verdens Gang: "Many have been here to have a look at Vadim - it is a reflection on how well he has been playing. "But I am not going to get involved in any name dropping in the media." The player himself, who joined Rosenborg in November 2007 on a three-year-contract, insists he wants to stay and win trophies with the club. "I haven't heard anything about this. I really don't want to know about these things, as long as it is nothing concrete," he said. "I feel that I have a lot left to prove in Norway and for Rosenborg. I want to win something with Rosenborg and I like it here. "Regardless, it is up to the club to decide if they wish to sell. But I think that I have taken big steps this year."
