Villa eyeing Poulsen swoop
Aston Villa are reportedly keeping tabs on Danish international Simon Poulsen, with a view to launching a bid for his services in January.[LNB] The 27-year-old AZ Alkmaar left-sider is out of contract at the end of the season.[LNB]Poulsen, who can play full-back or in midfield, is now attracting interest from a host of clubs.[LNB]Aston Villa have now emerged as one of those keeping close tabs on him.[LNB]It is understood that Villa scout Arthur Numan has already watched Poulsen on several occasions and delivered positive reports back to his bosses in the Midlands.
