O'Neill believes he achieved as much in four years in charge of Leicester - two League Cup wins in 1997 and 2000 plus runners-up in 1999 - than Villa have since their 1982 European Cup triumph.[LNB]But this season he has given Villa genuine hope they can seal a spot in the Champions League for the first time despite a recent poor run of results.[LNB]Villa, who are currently on a five-day break in Dubai, will enter the final 10 games of the season on 52 points from 28 matches - holding a three-point lead over fifth-placed Arsenal.[LNB]O'Neill said: "We are still in there. I think we have got an exceptionally difficult run-in and we are soon away at Liverpool and away at Manchester United in successive league games.[LNB]"If you gave me 69 points now I'd take it. But I would want this football club to be qualifying for Europe every single year by some way or another.[LNB]"It's not what the football club deserves because, I have to say, the record since 1982 has been, I think, an FA Cup final appearance (2000) and two League Cup wins (1994 and 1996).[LNB]"We did that in four years at Leicester at the end of the day so the record at Villa has not been phenomenal.[LNB]"But the football club itself, with the history it had quite some considerable time ago, maybe should have (done better)."[LNB]Villa have not won in six games in all competitions and O'Neill admitted: "The most important thing now is that we resume the form which carried us up the league table during our long unbeaten run.[LNB]"The Premier League is finely balanced but we intend to give everything possible in our bid to remain within the leading group."[LNB][LNB] Prem To Finish In Top 4 2008/09 Win Outright: Aston Villa 5/6[LNB]
