Simon Jones is Sportsmail's man on the inside of all the major transfer moves this summer. [LNB]  His column, published every weekday, offers an insight into the deals which will be done and those that won't - and why. [LNB]A 5/5-rating  means The Insider reckons it's a done deal; 0/5 means The Insider has his mortgage on it not happening.[LNB]Don't miss your daily instalment of The Insider every weekday through the transfer window here at MailOnline.[LNB]Javier MascheranoLiverpool to Barcelona - The Insider says: 4/5 The Argentinian's dream move is back on after a remarkable turnaround by Barcelona's board on Thursday. [LNB]The deal could yet cause problems at Barca because coach Pep Guardiola made it clear he only wanted cover for Serge Busquets who is a firm favourite at the Camp Nou and with Spain, yet the club have decided to press ahead anyway. [LNB] Mix and Masch: The 'will he, won't he' Javier Mascherano move could be back on[LNB]Even if Guardiola rolls with it for now expect an unhappy Mascheranoto kick up in a few months time when he isn't a regular pick.[LNB]There is also the minor detail of Barca being short of Liverpool'sasking price at the moment. Although they are confident, Liverpool arenot keen on Barca makeweights in the deal. A quick deal is necessarythough for Liverpool to bring in their own targets before next week.[LNB]Denis YilmazBayern Munich to Blackpool - The Insider says: 1/5 The 22-year-old striker is playing for Bayern Munich II on Wednesday night and a host of Britsh clubs will be represented in the stands. Blackpool had a strong interest while Blackburn and Stoke have also been keen at various stages of the summer. [LNB]The questions though are why are Bayern letting him go if he is any good? And would I be better off finding a British player instead? [LNB]The first one is mooted to be because Yilmaz chose Turkey as hiscountry to represent instead of Germany while the latter is answered inBlackpool's failed bid for Brett Pitman at Bournemouth. A foreign dealfor a player desperate just to play in England may be easier toachieve. [LNB]Yilmaz has a good goalscoring record and the pedigree. He is decentvalue too at 22 and Championship clubs will also be keen to try andstrike a deal as he will fall into their price range too if Bayern lethim go on loan.[LNB]Emile HeskeyAston Villa to Leicester City - The Insider says: 2/5 The former England striker needs to revive his career. Coming on as a substitute for Villa in Sunday's 6-0 hammering underlined that is not where he should be - especially as a right winger. [LNB]Leicester are being backed financially and have a good young manager in Paulo Sousa who is keen to play football the right way. As a friend of Fabio Capello he has also picked up on Heskey's importance to a team and believes he could get another three seasons out of the big striker. [LNB] Villian of the piece: Emile Heskey has fallen behind John Carew in the Aston Villa pecking order[LNB]A return to Leicester would kickstart the city and the club - maybein a similar fashion to Craig Bellamy going to Cardiff - but there area lot of Premier League sides still searching for a target man andHeskey will come cheaper than most. [LNB]He will get a few surprise offers in the next few days but Leicester remain hopeful. [LNB]Hrvoje CaleTrabzonspor to Stoke City - The Insider says: 1/5 Croatia international gave away a penalty against Liverpool last week but has attracted attention from Premier League clubs. He can also play centre back and his versatility could see him move here over the next week. [LNB] City slicker: Trabzonspor's Hrvoje Cale (left) failed to shine in the Europa League clash with Liverpool[LNB]Stoke are one of a number of clubs showing interest but they have other immediate targets ahead of him with defensive midfield and striker key areas for them. Liverpool were also interested but the fact he has played in the Europa League may now limit their interest.[LNB]He is available for around £2million, is composed on the ball, strong in the tackle and, like most Croatians, his distribution is good.[LNB]   More from Simon Jones - The Insider... THE INSIDER: Tottenham's Peter Crouch on Everton radar, Robinho mulls Manchester City exit and Portsmouth's double frustration20/08/10 THE INSIDER: Luis Fabiano closes door on Spurs move as Arsenal look set to sign Sebastien Squillaci19/08/10 THE INSIDER: Amr Zaki linked with Spurs as Lee Naylor looks poised for Gordon Strachan reunion at Middlesbrough18/08/10 THE INSIDER: Dimitar Berbatov staying at Manchester United, Ola Toivonen in Liverpool queue and Charles N'Zogbia is in demand16/08/10 THE INSIDER: Barcelona struggling to raise cash for Javier Mascherano and Birmingham set to offer Matt Derbyshire Premier League return 13/08/10 THE INSIDER:James Beattie bound for Rangers as Blackpool keep adding with Chris Basham checking in12/08/10 THE INSIDER: Rafik Halliche set to seal Fulham switch, West Ham still in for Yakubu and Hull win race for Robert Koren11/08/10 THE INSIDER: Peter Crouch's Liverpool reunion, Tottenham still tracking Luis Fabiano, Kenwyne Jones closes on £9m Stoke switch10/08/10 VIEW FULL ARCHIVE  [LNB]
