Simon Jones is Sportsmail's man on the inside of all the biggest (and littlest) transfer moves this summer. His column, published every weekday, offers an insight into the deals which will be done and those that won't - and why. A 5/5-rating means The Insider reckons it's a done deal; 0/5 means The Insider has his mortgage on it not happening. Don't miss your daily instalment of The Insider every weekday through the transfer window here at MailOnline. Gary Cahill Bolton to Everton - The Insider says: 3/5 The former Aston Villa centre-half has come to the fore at the Reebok so much so that Fabio Capello had no qualms about calling him up to the England squad. His no-nonsense defending has alerted Everton manager David Moyes and he is keen tostrike a deal should events unfold with Joleon Lescott. Moyes does not want to sell Lescott but if he asks for a transfer a move to Manchester City may follow. Kalu Uche Almeria to Fulham - The Insider says: 2/5 Quick and powerful Nigerian international who can play attacking midfield or as a striker. He renowned back home for his acrobatic goal celebrations a la Obafemi Martins and Fulham will be hoping they see a lot of those should they follow up their interest. They have made an initial bid and the Spanish side are willing to sell. Figured alongside and as a replacement to Real Madrid's Alvaro Negredo last year. Jelle van Damme Anderlecht to Aston Villa - The Insider says: 2/5 Belgian international has improved since his early days at Southampton and is on the list for a few Premier League clubs. At 6ft 4ins tall he can play at centre half or at left-back and his versatility is appealing. Villa have watched him several times as they check on various targets in the Belgian Jupiter League and at 25 he still has time to improve. The reality is he may be back up to a lot of first choices should they fall through.
