Robert Pires looking forward to facing with Gary Neville as Aston Villa play Man Utd

Robert Pires is hoping he gets an opportunity to come up against his old adversary Gary Neville when Aston Villa travel to Old Trafford on Tuesday night.[LNB]The veteran pair enjoyed many epic tussles during Pires' time at Arsenal from 2000 to 2006 and the Frenchman is looking forward to their rivalry recommencing.[LNB]Both players have played bit-part roles for their clubs so far this season but Pires, 37, starred in Villa's recent 3-1 FA Cup win over Blackburn and is hoping for another start.[LNB] Renaissance: Robert Pires is applauded off the pitch as Villa beat Blackburn[LNB] 'I'd love to play against him again. They were big games with a lot of intensity between Arsenal and Man Utd,' Pires said.[LNB]'Every time I came up against him, he made my life a misery.[LNB]'There were a lot of insults - he liked to tread on my feet at corners or free-kicks.[LNB]'It was always just about provocation and there were some games when I fell into his trap.[LNB]'I thought more about having a row with him than playing football.'[LNB]Neville, 35, has only featured three times for United this season but he could play some part tonight despite first choice right-back Rafael returning from concussion.[LNB] Bit-part: Gary Neville (right) has only played four league games this season[LNB] Pires endured a difficult start to his Villa career but he has figured prominently in their return to form over the last few weeks and the World Cup winner revealed he is still loving life as a footballer.[LNB]He said: 'I enjoy training every morning.
